Mick Howarth

Just a quick question, has anyone ever heard of a frame builder called Mick Howarth, probably from the 1970s.

Thank you how did you find that, I had already tried a Google search. I have a frame of his which seems very interesting.

Hey Bazzo
I’ve also got a Mick Howarth!
Been searching for a while for any info
Mine had an oval top tube among other interesting elements
Did you find any more info on Mick at all?

I seem to remember a Mick Howarth having a shop (not there now) in Sale Moor, Greater Manchester. One window had the cycling gear, the other mainly children's toys. I don't recall any frame building facilities - they may have been made elsewhere to his specifications which was common practice at the time, I believe. I understand that he died some years ago but maybe older members of cycling clubs in that area could provide you with more info.
