If you're asking whether a single speed freewheel will be OK on a fixed hub with the narrower stepped threading for sprocket and lockring, the answer is yes. I needed a SS wheel quick and the LBS only had a double fixed wheel which I bought and was wary but haven't had any issues with using it. I was using a wide Shimano freewheel with plenty of thread engagement.

this is normally fine but just a few SS freewheels have a large relief on the screw thread, and may not give enough engagement on a fixed wheel threading.
