Hi
My girlfriend is interested in getting some cycle training. When we go on holidays we would like to be able to hire some bikes occasionally, and at the moment Sarah doesn’t feel confident enough to do that. She’s fine on a quiet lane, but doesn’t like traffic.
Are there any cycle training courses for adults in the Leeds area that you are aware of?
A course where the bike was provided would be best, but I guess we could borrow a bike from someone if necessary (my bike is too big for her).
Thanks
Hugh

hugh
Leeds City Council used to do some adult training and also a Bike Buddy Scheme (where they would accompany a would-be cycling commuter to work) and I presume they still do.
I cannot find the number but the so-called cycling officers operate from 0113 2476385 and should be able to point you in the right direction.
(Don't tell them who sent you.)

Thanks for that
We've also found that a group called Crank It Up will do adult cycle training in Leeds (crank-it-up@hotmail.com)
