Cycle Instructors wanted in Northamptonshire

Postby L Spyers-Ashby » 20 Jun 2007, 8:59am

Would you like to see more people cycling?
Do you have a keen interest in cycle safety?
Could you share your expertise with children and adults?

The launch of Bikeability this coming Autumn is an exciting time for us here at Northamptonshire County Council. Funding is in place and we're looking to employ instructors on a casual contract basis to help deliver this training.

For more information and a job application pack contact Loretta Spyers-Ashby, Cycle Training Co-ordinator on 01604 654464.

Just out of interest what is the hourly rate of pay - and how do you work it - ie do you pay a flat hour for an hours training or do you pay for the time it takes to set up, leave, do paperwork etc ?

I'm finding at times an hours training can take me 3 hours with travelling to and from and all the rest of it.

Thanks
