Is Cytech or C&G available in South Wales

Postby Katyf » 5 Dec 2007, 3:00pm

I work in South Wales in an adult education centre and am wondering if anyone can advise me whether there is any training on cycle maintenace on offer to people of all ages. I'm thinking of Cytech or something similar that can be completed over a few sessions. I need to know about costings including trainer, accreditation and session fees. Hope someone can help?

Hi,

You could try Weldite, they offer a range of cycle maintenance courses which are all government approved by ASET and The Bicycle Assoc.

They have a training centre in York, however they also offer tailor made courses which they will run in your premises/or at your venue.

Contact Details as follows:

Telephone: Charlotte on 01652 660000

Or visit them online at www.weldtite.co.uk

Hope that's helpful,

Cytech is based in Aylesbury and the qualification you gain is an NVQ. Not sure if you have to work in a bike shop, there is some details here:

Hope this helps
