So there's the "running commentary" thing, where the idea is that thinking aloud will keep you focused on the thought processes that underpin your safe progress. During a Bikeability Scotland L2 assessment yesterday a couple of the children decided to go for it, some with good results, others less so...

"And now I'll look around to see if there's any traffic, and... you see that house there, that's where my cousin lives. And he's got a new dog, and..."

That did make me chuckle! It's a very clear insight into their thought process! And also rather worrying...
