Replying to PM

Post by lbomaak2 »

I have just attempted to reply to a PM. After composing my reply and clicking "Submit", I get a page with my reply copied at the top, as well as in the space for writing it; but it doesn't appear to have been sent. How do I send it?

If it has been sent, you will see a copy in either of the Tabs : : "Sent, Unread" OR "Sent & Read" . . . depending on its status at the time.

The point is that it hasn't appeared in either "Sent, unread" or "Sent and Read", and i don't know why. How do I send it, other than clicking the "Submit" button which is what i have been trying?

Despite their being options on composing a PM to both "preview" and "submit", the "submit" button always produces a "preview". Select "Submit" a second time and voila, message sent.

That doesn't happen with me, Gaz.
Preview gives a preview.
Submit, sends it.

Often, I don't bother with Preview and just click Submit ............ and it only needs one click.

I don't send many so I gave it a test rather than going from memory. For me both "preview" and "submit" are generating a preview requiring a further "submit" to send, no big deal.

No, it's no big deal, but IMHO, it's a big deal that your computer does one thing, and mine does another.
I have no idea why, but my computer, my iPad, my smart phone, and my previous two computers, plus Mrs Mick F's computer and our iMac all do the same.

One click to Submit.
Submit doesn't give a preview.
One click, and it's gone ......... and a copy is put into the sent/unread box.
