How long does it take for a post to be approved?

Post by RuralCyclist93 »

Hi
I'm new to this forum but never realised that it would take so long for a post to be moderated and published. Whilst its good to have pre-moderation to avoid abusive trolling posts, it doesn't help if you want a quick answer or reply to something and could wait possibly hours or more before it gets accepted and posted.

Moderators on this forum are all volunteers.

How long it takes depends on when one of us next logs in.

If the weather is nice, we might be out riding our bikes.

p.s. most of the posts that are not approved are spam from people selling fake passports, kitchens, fake branded stuff, etc.

Yes, and some of us go to bed early.
22:08 and I was in the Land of Nod, and had been for over an hour.

Mind you, I was up and about at 5am this morning.

The moderation is good I think, can't remember seeing any kitchens

Plenty of challenging opinions and useful-interesting-funny stuff

Maybe we need a new forum section for Fake Passports, Kitchens and Knock-Offs - sounds like it might be more active than some recent sections "higher authority" has required of the forum.
