I posted just now on the Brexit thread.
It took 25secs to go, so Admin's tweaking hasn't helped.

IME, it's not only posting. Having read MickF's post which is immediately above this, I went to the previous page but it was slow getting there. I'm more relaxed about this than others, just posting to give a complete picture.

Edit 16 seconds

That wasn’t an edit, I know, it was a quote took 16 seconds again though

It's amazing how much you notice something like this, once it's been pointed out.

About 16 seconds afterwards, I'd say!

Sometimes, not just now, posting is slow from my smartphone, I try again, then have a duplicate, have to delete it :?

In the middle of the night there are very few users plus bots, is it faster then?

Still slow. For me the big delays are on posting. For me the delay is only on posting. Displaying threads seems to be ok. That said I've done the double post (though I've got the "Post Review" on the 2nd post) mentioned above so hard to know if it's sending in the post or fetching back the updated thread.

No problem, but more than 30 seconds for a PM to send, otherwise normal?

Maybe related, maybe nor but I just got 2 PMs - it was actually only one message but it got sent twice. I replied and pressed the "Submit" button only once (absolutely sure it was only once) but my message seems to have been sent twice.

Hence the number of duplicate posts at the moment when people double-click, I guess.
