Re: Forum Update Issues
Hi,
When I try to go to a topic this morning I get this- If I press continue I can carry on okay.
Using duckduck app browser on an iPhone SE 1st gen.
This also happened a few days ago.

Re: Forum Update Issues
I'd clear your browser caches and see if it recurs and then report back. There was a fair bit of work done and fixes applied over the last few days.

Found the code that adds this, now disabled. Hopefully that's the last we'll see of Tapatalk popups.
Happy for the Forum to support Tapatalk, but I'm not keen on the Forum pushing people to use Tapatalk!

Almost certainly just like that.

Hi,
I am assuming that you've made adjustments for clarity et cetera, unless someone else chimes in no problem.
Don't change it for me.
It seems a bit vertical wider spaced than it was before although I can live with that okay.

Re: Forum Update Issues
OK, no problem. I updated phpBB to the latest version, which caused complaints about too-small text on mobile devices, so I increased the font size by 10%. Most people seem to be happy now, but if there are any other tweaks I can do, happy to do so.

Re: Forum Update Issues
A big thank you goes out to admin for sorting out the title overlap issue. It's working fine now. I think you're doing a great job with the various bugs the update had caused. Hopefully it's going to be easier for you soon.

@admin
Trivial issue. Favicon seems to have disappeared. I had a brief look at the HTML and can't see it in there (bit it wa sbrief and may have missed it) but certainly does not appear in browser.

EDIT: Checked the console and getting a 404 error on favicon.ico

Re: Forum Update Issues
Hadn't spotted as my browser was still using the cached icon.
Should be fixed now, thanks for the heads-up

Re: Forum Update Issues
I'm also getting the following repeatedly:
Layout was forced before the page was fully loaded. If stylesheets are not yet loaded this may cause a flash of unstyled content. node.js:413:6
Loading and display on desktop Linux latest Firefox ESR (78.9.0) is slow to the point where jumping directly to posts leaves the browser pointing several posts below where the # anchor of the link went.

Re: Forum Update Issues
I have Firefox 87.0 on Linux (Fedora 33) here, and it's snappy as anything else.
There is no use of node.js on this Forum, so I'm not sure where that message is coming from? It's a server-side thing, so are you using a proxy server, or Tapatalk, or a whacky Firefox plugin, or something like that?
