Stuck Forum

Post by Mick F »

Ten minutes ago (1515, 11 Dec), the forum froze.

I tried another browser, and still the same. The internet was working ok, just forum.ctc.org.uk.

All ok now. What was happening?

Our street has been like that for several days - somebody even skidded and demolished a wall on the corner - it's been a bit better since the gritters came - perhaps that's the answer  or perhaps not

Apparently it was a failure of one of the routers between the forum server and the internet, which caused connection problems for some users for about five to nine minutes around 15:00 on 11 Dec. The router in question has now been replaced.

Well spotted!
