I don't like the new look!

Calling all users who aren't keen on the default phpBB3 style we are now using for this forum!

and post replies below with the style names you like. I'll then review the choices and install as many as is sensible, so you can choose the style that you like best

Currently-installed styles

These styles are currently installed. Select the one you prefer from "User Control Panel" > "Board preferences" > "My board style":

prosilver	Default phpBB3 theme. Expands to fill the whole width of your browser window.	Variable	Right	Background shading
prosilver Special Edition	Like prosilver, but fixed-width pages	Fixed	Right	Background shading
prosilver Contrast	An alternative to the default with fewer blue backgrounds: an attempt to make the board easier to read for people who find that the backgrounds get in the way.	Variable	Right	Background shading
subsilver2	Similar to the previous Forum style, with user info on the left of posts, and lots of lines to separate things.	Variable	Left	Border lines
vphpbb3	Style similar to the vBulletin message board system default.	Variable	Left	Border lines

This one gets my vote.
It is narrower and not too wide.

I've had a quick look but to do a detailed check would mean looking at a lot of complete non-starters.

I rather liked e-Tech, but that was out of a sample of only a couple of others. (The one with the black background and green typeface looks particularly useless.)

I see they don't all have the same facilities - there was one with a 'birthdays today' feature.

There are a lot to try (so I didn't try them all), but vphpbb3 is good and SEO isn't bad.

subsilver2 isn't bad either though - I have switched to that.
