thread presentation

Is there any chance that the threads can be changed so that when you click onto a post the latest entry is displayed. Currently, the original (earliest) is shown, and you have to go through the pages and move down to see the latest entry on the thread (and sometimes the latest entry contributes nothing and is a disappointment!).
Our club uses what looks like similar software for our forums and we have it so that each thread display defaults to the bottom, but as I'm no techy, I can't help anymore.
Cheers

I'm dubious about this - I think you'd have people responding to the last post, without troubling to make themselves aware of the discussion that preceded it.

I speak as an IT nonentity.

When you are looking at all the thread titles, if you click on the little white rectangle with the corner missing, on the extreme right, you get the last post (without bugler).

I hope I am right - this is a first for me advising on IT. I'll put a little blush in.

Sorry, TC.

What triangle? I can't see one.

The rectangle that looks like Image in the message listing (right-hand column).

You can also use the "Display Posts from previous" selection boxes at the bottom of a post list, to view just recent posts and in reverse order.

I don't think there's a way to keep the setting for this however.

All I can see is a drop-down menu at the bottom of the posts, so you can change to first or last.
