Mark Forums Read.
Mark Forums Read.
I inadvertently clicked on the link Mark Forums Read which shows at the top right hand side when you log on. Anyone got any idea on how to undo this action so that I can revert back to the page's original format?
Re: Mark Forums Read.
AFAIK, you can't.
If you hit 'view active topics' you can get a list of all newer topics but it won't tell you if you've read them or not. Likewise, if you just go into all of the subforums then the most recent will be at the top.

Mark forums read
I keep hitting *Mark all read* by mistake, then I frantically try to go back, sometimes it works
What is this function for, can I remove or hide it?

Re: Mark Forums Read.
The function is to say that you have read everything in all the forums. Each form has its own "Mark topics read" link too, which marks everything in that forum as having been read.
Next time you visit you will then be able to see which posts are new.
Depending on your browser there might be a way to hide these links, but you can't hide them using the Forum settings.
Why do you keep hitting "Mark all read"? Is it too close to something else?

The display is a bit tight and small on my smartphone
If I have marked all read, then I use *new posts* instead, that gives similar results

I have done it several times on my smartphone, I wanted to go to page 2
Just realised, I can go to the bottom of the list and press "2" there (no *mark all read* at the bottom)
