Overzealous moderators shifting posts?

Postby james01 » 16 May 2014, 5:08pm

I've just had my "Cat saves boy cyclist from dangerous dog" moved from "On the road" to "Tea shop" section. This is the second time in recent days that I've had a post interfered with :( , I thought for a moment it had disappeared completely.
The "Tea shop" section is described as "non-cycling related chat". What is non-cycling about a child on a bike?
(PS: I wonder where moderator is going to move this rant to :D ).

It wasn't on the road, it was on his front garden ;)

Moderators tend not to be overzealous, it's too much work.

Perhaps it got chased off this board by a moderator's overprotective cat  .

I once 'lost my rag' big-time over a moved post (not on this forum, I hasten to add). And flounced off. But there was a bit more to it than just having a post moved...

I think I've mellowed a bit, since. :? And my hair is greyer.

I'm sure the forum allows for a moved post signpost to be left. makes it more obvious, and here it would drop off the front page fairly fast

This thread is getting around the boards a bit; this must be the third so far.

Does that qualify it for inclusion on Touring and Expedition?

I'll give the mods a biscuit in exchange for moving it to "Swaps, trades, etc"

This is turning into a forum version of Mornington Crescent and it looks to be catching on.

Talking of empty glass, I'm in a boozer in Swindon, and my glass is empty.
I must go and sort this problem out.
