Bike sale active on 19th aug but now seems to have been removed?

Items on the For Sale board are auto-deleted after a period of inactivity. I cannot categorically confirm the timescale but it appears to be one month.

So a post originally made on 3 August (still active on 19 August) would now be deleted if it had no replies.

If the original post (or latest reply) was after 3 August I'd suggest that you PM AdWatch or another moderator with details.

PM is an abbreviation for Private Message, a sort of internal e-mail system.

If you think a post has been deleted then I'd suggest you contact one of the forum's Volunteer administrative team by PM.

AdWatch is one of the forum's Volunteer Spambusters.

Was it your advert or one by someone else...if so do you know who posted it and what was it for?

I've had a quick look behind the fridge and there appear to have been no adverts for complete bikes removed since 19th Aug.

I'm not aware of a post being deliberately deleted ..... as Si says.
However, if the advert was non-active for a while, it would have been auto-deleted, and as such there will be no record of it.

this is the CTC - we don't have a sofa. But I did also check the chaise-longue and the Chesterfield - no joy.
