Thanks, but been thinking having found the (correct) website and not this one!
https://fzero.fandom.com/wiki/Falcon_Flyer

If I were to get the Flyer, it's £5.10 (plus bike carriage) discounted single Plymouth to Exeter.
How do I get to Plymouth for the Flyer? Train? It's £4.50 single (they don't do returns) at the cheapest after 9am with a railcard.
Maybe cycle it - best part of 20miles to Plymouth station from here.

Been thinking a bit more.
Train Gunny to Ex with bike (free bike) for £8.20 even though it's the early commuter train so more expensive. Leave on the 07:24 and leaving home 06:45ish and pedal up the hill just over a mile from home to catch it.
Ride down to Ashburton from Exeter St Davids station - 20miles perhaps.
Turn round and do the A38 bridges on the way back to Exeter St Davids - 25miles perhaps.
Take the train back to Gunny (free bike) for £7.55 and freewheel home for tea.

Just got to pick when I want to do it, and pay online and they send me (by post) the two singles and the bike bookings.

Trains are my best option, and only £15.75 there and back for over a 100mile train journey.
No contest.

Bit vaque I know but some chums I met up with at the week-end told me that you can use Tesco 'club points' to buy a single year rail card...

I would agree with Simon, £10 of Tesco vouchers gave me a years railcard.

Tesco?
One, I don't like Tesco.
Two, a tenner for a year's railcard is for a National Railcard.
Three, you need a Tesco Clubcard. Goes against my thoughts about Tesco and no doubt you need to spend loadsa dosh to get £10 of vouchers.
Four, I don't need a National Railcard.
Five, I don't like Tesco .......... but that's repeating myself.

You'd have to spend £1000 to get a £10 voucher Mick F.
But you would get a free railcard and 932 cans of your Speckled Hen ale!
Can't say I'm in the tesco fan club either.

Spend a grand in Tesco for a tenner's worth voucher?

They've gotta be kidding!

This should be in the Funniest Clean Joke thread.
