Would be interesting to know "which road" and "heading where"

There's no such thing as a tailwind.
It's either a headwind, or you're going well.

City to Sea

More a path than a road, following the Thames Estuary east from Dartord under the QEII bridge. Cycletrack orders have been passed but not confirmed. Currently incomplete and in need of further groundworks before it opens, fingers crossed they'll finish this stretch as far as Greenhithe next year

Supporter of the A10 corridor cycling campaign serving Royston to Cambridge http://a10corridorcycle.com. Never knew gardening secateurs were an essential part of the on bike tool kit until I took up campaigning.....

Touring on a bicycle is a great way to explore and appreciate the countryside and towns you pass through. What do you do to make a difference?

Just come back from a chilly but glorious ride. Only 17miles, but I really enjoyed the crips cold air with sunshine.
This is a shot looking down Sherwell Hill facing north with Devon in the distance. The mist in the valley was very very chilly!
