I enjoyed both parts.

And in part 1 the presenter is seen cycling round without a plastic hat! :o

Agree. Really good couple of programmes, especially being the same age and liking my campervan too.

I would like to "campervan" around Scotland but can't commit to spending money on a van.
We had a caravan but it was a lot of money depreciating for the very little annual use we got out of it.
Perhaps would consider hiring one for a couple of weeks.

A reasonably priced VW camper van (T25/Transporter) would hold its price. I guess you could buy one now and sell it for same price at end of summer.
I've looked at hire prices and they are very expensive.

A few years ago my son bought a 90s Hymer, great comfortable camper. He paid ten grand. If he sold it now it would fetch the same. German quality and design and not a shoebox like the VW. I used it in the summer and I was dead impressed.

Whilst on this camp site I looked at modern Hymers, they have not changed a lot, they didnt need to.
