I read the Guardian obituary of Bob Holman again
Gladstone inspired George Lansbury who inspired Holman who inspired me

Lansbury emigrated to Australia in the early 20th century on promises, lies, of prosperity, he managed to get back and campaigned against lies made by organisations selling passages to the colonies. I bet many people were not so lucky and led miserable lives in the Red Continent

All three inspirers were dedicated christians
