I used to run a weekend event as near as possible to the 1st of March (why would that be, in Wales!)
The weather was totally unpredictable. We have had bright sunshine and Tshirsts weather and other times feet deep snow to deal with, that is not Bolton but "way down South, where the living is easy".
Of course normally it just rains, as it is now.

Not any more. It's now the "meteorological" spring. :?

I remember it snowed on my sisters birthday once - 11th May.
I mountain biked in the Lakes, in June, on the hottest day of the year and there was still snow in the gullies.
I have sunbathed in February (1976) on Parlick hill. (near Chipping).

I'm almost on the equator at the moment. And it's bloody hot! But it's raining....

Am meeting someone for coffee...she was thinking it was a bit cold to go...sent a txt half an hour ago to her saying "sun's out I'm going". Tis now heaving down with snow

We'd only complain if it were sunny and warm all of the time.

My birthday in March, as a child I had two parties ended prematurely as the snow was getting so bad kids had to go home. [emoji23]

I went and ended up having a lovely ride in bright sunshine.

Weather here can't decide what to do today. I had a new clematis to plant, and they need a deep hole dug so it takes a while. Started in bright sunshine, got the hole half dug, then got forced inside by a sleet shower. Was able to go back out after an hour - bright sun again - and then finish the job, but efforts to do more gardening were thwarted by high winds

I think we've had every type of weather here today.
Started off rain. Then snow. Then sleet. Then snow. Then rain. Then sun. Then snow. Then rain. And it's been consistently windy all day.
I've stayed in working on a new rear light mount :)
