Hi,
Not sure what we are discussing at the moment.

But been watching the "Live European Parliament" on "BBC Parliament" channel.

It seems that other EU countries are not happy with the EU.
Mentioned also that the Euro is in a worse state but is being ignored, probably over shadowed and overlooked because of Brexit.
The word R-moaners was also used, if its ok for MEP's then its OK for us.
Class divide in UK and the upper crust are being blamed for fuelling stay.
A bit heated.

Chair stopped play and was concerned with an opening from a british MEP "You Lot".....................

The EURO has not gone away.
Brexit is real.
Class divide has always existed in all EU contries.
Other European countries are certainly in a worse state than us for sure.
EURO is dead........my opinion.

Carry on guys :)

Hi,
Have you ever watched foreign justice courts, like south Africa :)
Its a mad mad world.
I wish we would just get on with it.

When we leave........................much attention outside UK will be on the EU and the EURO.........in the EU......

On principle I agree with the EU and unions...................its just the people that get in there that muddies the waters...

I agree and which country was it that voted a Mr Nigel Fanange to represent the UK in the EU Parliament?

Ironically the nutters that get elected illustrates (to me) the better electoral system for MEPs (better than Westminster) as those who get elected better reflect the wishes of the electorate (rather than using the Westminster "First Past The Post" system).

Justice Minister Quits With Damning Criticism Of Government's Brexit Policy

Also

'Five days after his 96th birthday, retired Brigadier Stephen Goodall will be pinning on his medals to take part in the march for a People's Vote
on Brexit. '

https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/br ... 90116.html

Stephens Video is worth watching, very moving as he indicates;

'On 23 June, I will be joining tens of thousands of others calling for a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal. I am not looking for a rerun of the June 2016 referendum, but for something very different: a decision about whether the deal negotiated by the government to leave the EU is right for the country. My experience tells me that it will not be.
I may now be an old man but, like the soldier I once was, I am ready to march again for a better future. Please join me.'

My family and I will be joining Stephen

'The fund management company where Jacob Rees-Mogg is a partner has set up a fund in Dublin, as asset managers worry about being cut off from European investors after Brexit. '

Could this be the same Mr Rees-Mogg, the Conservative MP and firm Brexit supporter, who has long argued that the UK will be better off outside the EU.

Indeed yes it is, and its the same Rees-Mogg whose wife received government funding of 7.5 million which will be used to address subsidence caused by coal mining to her ancestral home

I don't normally write about politics on line ...but ..This Brexit thing seems to be total waste of time. No one seems able to say what the benefits are, the government are attempting to move the UK from half in the EU to being half out the EU...whilst everything else involved in running the country is put on the back burner .... I must admit I do feel removed from the problem in this tiny village of 14 people in the hills , and selfishly my only concern is how it is gonna affect my pension ... and less selfishly my Daughter her fella and my Grandsons living in the UK

I think that sums up most people's thoughts on his total and utter mess, which was instigated by a totally incompetent government and is now being overseen by an even more totally incompetent government.
Not only that,a government without majority that now seeks to short circuit what little democracy there is on the subject.

If we think the country is in a bad state now,it'll be far worse after we leave.
It's a complete and utter shambles, presided over by a complete and utter shambolic bunch of incompetent millionaires whose interest is only for self

Nothing wrong with that, we all want that, but one day the bulldozers will come.

Its an age thing, you got all your wants and fantasises out of your system, realise you are not superman and settle down, but I would rather know whats coming than put my head in the sand.

I always say don't walk behind or in front of a vehicle when engine is running, but many do when looking the other way.
Stand on the side and wait till all the rush is gone, then cross the road.

I have no children but all this common sense should be drummed into them Before they can leave school, other countries that show a more ideal existence did it by the way they nurtured their children, I.M.O.

N.A.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say :?
I have three children, eight surviving grandchildren and three great grandchildren, the youngest of which is four weeks old and I really fear for their future outside of the EU.

Hi,
The way the british are.
WE could teach them not to fall into the same pitfalls that we all have ......at school! Before they leave.

Then they would not have all those bad habits, first picked up from parents then the bods they meet at work / uni.

Then we would be different thinking and take more interest in public affairs before its all to late.

Maybe I am dreaming.

The day they leave school is the day they grow up and become their own person, your job is done?

When I say I have no kids its not because I don't like or ever wanted them, I am the one who complains daily about the way children are used by the media.

Contacted the BBC recently and suggested that their do not follow their usual "oh and the first team home.....blah...select school..blahh...grin...grin..."

OH they listened BUT....they even used MY Words too............................but alas they got the last word......"Its Not A Race" (me) but the first team home was............"favourite"..................and only other team named out of 400 teams was also a select school............................grammar.....................fee paying.........................

So the BBC are intent to only name first home and select schools...................

You can't win.
