You were correct of course, and who says I have a closed mind?

Just because I have the same opinion as I've always had, doesn't mean that I haven't listened and read other opinions.

Does a having "closed mind" mean that you cannot change your opinion no matter what?

I was asked a binary question and I answered.
Had the referendum been a multi-choice one, who knows what the population would have voted for, let alone you and me.

No closed mind here, thank you very much.

In which case, many congratulations on the masterful subterfuge you've been undertaking these past 1000 pages.

Why is having the same opinion a symptom of a closed mind?
Would you rather I changed my mind?

Why?

If you could first explain why you didn't change your mind I'll engage otherwise it's not worth the effort.

I am taking trouble with you, 'because you are worth trouble. You know perfectly well what is the matter with you. You have known it for years, though you have fought against the knowledge. You are mentally deranged. You suffer from a defective memory. You are unable to remember real events and you persuade yourself that you remember other events which never happened. Fortunately it is curable. You have never cured yourself of it, because you did not choose to. There was a small effort of the will that you were not ready to make. Even now, I am well aware, you are clinging to your disease under the impression that it is a virtue.

Taken from Orwell's 1984, This is the impression I get while being preached at from the Gospel of Remain.

Perhaps rather than the unbending nature of the opinion, it could be the pride in the inability to articulate the rationale for it?

The impression of cacophony from the pulpit of Brexit is that in order for the theology to survive, it is necessary to convince the populace that we have always been at war with East Prussia.

Windmiller, please tell us what is the first EU law that you consider should be repealed once the UK has left the EU (as opposed to EU laws that you consider should be left on the UK statute book).

Please also explain why that particular law should be repealed, and what if anything should replace it.

What about you?
Which EU laws do you like and would wish we had them if we had never been a part of the EU?

Personally, I have no complaints about any of them that I can think about.
