Just listened to Mozart's Requiem on BBC2. A lockdown performance in the Coliseum by English National Opera: socially distanced chorus and orchestra, perspex screens, no audience. But possibly the best performance of this I have ever heard.

Probably the lack of coughing between movements.

Lots of requiems have movements. eg K.626.

Is Skitt's Law in play with penalties?

Ok. Caught! And apologies to PWA.
I don't think of the sections as movements although the piece is divided up into sections. But I was wrong

Putting to one side the question of "movements", I have always been a bit sensitive to audience members who make noises during performances, so the absence of audience sounds on a piece of classical music would be a plus for me.

It is very different for, say, a rock performance where the participation of the audience is a big part of it. Just to show my split personality, I love this little clip of the Stones at Glastonbury. I have never been a big Stones fan but I love the football crowd nature of the audience and the fact that what you are listening to is mostly the crowd having a great time. It puts a smile on my face. Start at about 2.40 and let it run for a minute.

The Disintegration Loops - love them or loath them, they're probably the most minimalist, repetative audio recordings, issued as discrete pieces, that I have heard. If you want to hear what "decay" sounds like, here's your chance...not going to have trouble sleeping, now that I have them ;-)

Santana, from 2005 All That I Am. Up-beat pop rock, with the man's trademark classy guitar licks... he don't stay still... :-)

Just finished watching Kate Rusby 2020 Xmas concert. So good to see live music again and in the comfort of your home I didn’t have to miss the last song to get the train home.
Celtic Connections on Alba now.

I'm currently listening to Finnish commercial radio. It's incidental music when I'm coding and when I want to relax I can try and improve my Finnish by listening to the adverts. One day I'll get good enough to understand the disclaimers at the in real time/
