I listened to this play a few days ago on Radio 4 Extra. Pleased to learn it's being repeated. I did also find a copy on youtube https://youtu.be/Nj756O95Qig

Thanks for that. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I knew about her cycling achievements, I didn't realise what a character she was.
I once knew someone who had raced against her. Probably not that rare given her lengthy racing career but it does mean I can claim a Burton Number of 2!

One of the guys who was in my running club (he may still be a 'distant member?), but emigrated to Australia bears the surname of Charnock, & had (before her death) an Aunty Beryl

An amateur theatre in birmingham has just put this play on. Only four people in the cast, vintage bikes supplied by local restorer/instructor/top bloke Pete, and a great evening had by all, one of the best things ive seen at the theatre for years.....and you dont need to be into cycling to enjoy it.
