They're available in 5mm. They're available in 6mm.

So why then, can't somebody make something as simple as a friggin 4mm steel gear cable ferrule? Why? GRRR!

+ 1

And while we are on the subject, why do Fibrax make their gear ferrules so thick that they get jammed into adjusters and make them impossible to rotate?

The irony! Creep-Smog rails against the "Oxford Comma". But he wants England to leave the EU with No-Deal, and by corollary align itself more closely with the US of A.

But it's American English that mostly uses the Oxford Comma - British English tends to avoid it. For more info see here.

What's he going to do?

P.S. Couldn't read all of the link. Paywall.

David Schwimmer lookalike jailed for Blackpool thefts

He was then sentenced by Judge Sara Dodd, who told him he had an “appalling criminal history” and that he was “an habitual thief”.

Husseini, an Iranian national, has 32 previous convictions for 60 offences since 2008, including 27 offences for theft and dishonesty.

Why isnt he being deported? I bet he wouldnt dare behave that way in Iran?

Fine font manipulation, that! 7/10.

For the sentiments of the post, 0/10. :-)

Anyone know if schwimmer look alike would even me safe if deported? Quite possible he's got asylum over here. If so he sentiments of the font size primadonna might be ill advised. Do we want to be known as a nation that deport people to face human rights abuse and possibly torture or death? We're not America yet don't you know?!

I hate people who unnecessarily use hot water to wash their hands, and who leave the tap running even when using cold water
I just run the water for a moment to wet my hands, then for two moments to rinse them

Nail,head ,on!
BoJo 'backs' high-speed rail link sure enough,he's currently up and down the country promising money to all and sundry.
Whether it actually gets spent on those promises is anyone's guess but I'm not holding my breath, not on the promises of such a liar as he.

An object having the appearance but not the actuality of a different form of object. For example, A Tory MP is a skeuomorph of the RSO (Representative Shaped Object) type in that it looks and sounds like someone representing the interests of it's constituents but is in fact merely self-seeking albeit sometimes via the pleasuring of some oligarch or other.

Had to press the button to hold up the mortons four times
Changed to green for me but a blind truck driver emerging from a yard went right through, pressed again
An ambulance with blues and twos stopped me cycling across, pressed again
Went green for me, cycled across, the phase is so short one may press the button on the other side as one goes by, to help the next PoB who comes along to save time
A bus cowboy saw me press the button after crossing, blew his horn, made a rude gesture, I returned the compliment. Resolved to blow a kiss if that happens again
