We'll have to see won't we?
And if the Tories get elected again it'll be so.
We seem to have the same values and there's quite a bit of daylight between now and 8 June, all the parties will have time to either put a good case forward of commit suicide, one thing's for sure the leadership of the Labour party won't change between now and then.

Not the first time such a good idea has been posited. Some have made the comparison with Singapore, and those who think Singapore is a good example of -err,- anything, clearly don't know the place. There, as elsewhere it seems, anyone who actually does anything is astonishing badly rewarded. How people survive in the place is beyond me. London will be much like that before long (it is a bit like that now) and I cannot see how that is a good thing for us not in London, nor for the majority in London. What people miss is that wealth is created by adding value to something - passing money around between banks and bumping along on the bottom selling each other houses do not do that. The quicker we isolate London and gept on with what matters the better.

Londonland would be exceedingly rich but what would the people there eat? Britain could grow its own food but London would have to import a lot

Let's remember the 35 Labour MPs who thought it was a good idea to nominate Mr Corbyn as a candidate for the leadership of the party.

Both sides, the members and the PLP, are merely exercising their rights under the Labour constitution.

The root of the problem is a rule change that has set the scene for a conflict between the members and the PLP, that apparently no one foresaw. As far as I remember, the change was supported across the party, from Blair to Ed Miliband.

Unintended consequences.

That's not in doubt, but let's remember that he was a late nominee to make sure there was a token left-winger in the race

However excellent his policies, he is so bad at talking nobody listens.

He can't be that bad at talking, as he's won more elections than any other current party leader. It may be that he is poor at sound bites, or it may be another stitch up job by the media like the photos of Miliband.

I urge everyone to watch as much live or "as live" coverage as possible. Now, if you want a bad public speaker, more than one party leader is worse than Corbyn.

But the key issue is: we know Corbyn cycles, we know Farron cycles viewtopic.php?f=6&t=77250 , we know Lucas cycles https://www.carolinelucas.com/latest/cy ... e-seagulls but I'm not sure about Bartley. Why should we vote for a party led by someone who doesn't cycle?

Mobilize the younger voters.
That's the key here to make change.
And a better future for themselves.

Parliament finishes on 3rd May, so there's only a week for all the "wash up" horse-trading.

Bartley is the other Green EW co leader.

UKIP usually hate bikes (compulsory use of crap cycle lanes, road tax, number plates...) but I don't know about Paul Nutters

Leanne Wood has cycled http://www.leannerhondda.wales/tunnel_ride (the h&h were required by the organisers) but there seems to be a pro with the same name which makes searches harder.
