Re: Are you going to Watch the Eurovision Song Contest?
well while working at things on my pc am listening to it on Radio 2. The presenter sounds like Terry Wogan. some quite good tunes, the French wont win as usual as no one understands their words

FWIW I watched Britain's got Talent tonight which is unusual for me as usually fall asleep ,there was a school girls choir that sang Nessun Dorma that would've knocked any of the Eurovision songs or singers* into a cocked hat
*I heard the winning song,it was poor by any standard and if that was the best on offer I wouldn't have liked to have heard the worst

No, but I did suffer ten seconds of it when I turned the TV on when I got home from work before I quickly found a program on my TiVo to watch.

I have watched every Eurovision for the past 39 years.
It's an awesome party night, pizza and plonk.
Last night I ate far too much.

And, no evidence of anti-UK scoring, either by judges or the phone-in. Romania should have won though.

I like to watch to see just how abysmal (=funny) some entries are, and guess whose going to vote for who, often a bit predictable.
