Seems to me motor - "sport" is rather unnecessary

I've been dipping in and out of the Eurosport coverage but try not to sit on the sofa and watch it for any length of time as I didn't get much sleep Friday and fell asleep a few times.

I was watching last night as the leading Toyotas both retired within 30 mins of each other. They seem fated not to win LM24, having retired on the last lap last year...

Watching now, looks like another Porsche win. Really hoped Toyota could do it this year, I drive a Yaris Hybrid, but not to be again. Great racing though. Used to be a F1 fan, always watched on tv and went to Silverstone several times and Monza once ( I'm a Tifosi) but fed up with the Lewis this, Lewis that commentators.
Got Eurosport for the cycling and LeMans is a nice bonus. Carlton Kirby a great commemtator for both sports.
Steve.

I never really liked motorsport all that much though have enjoyed watching touring cars due to the rshort races,F1 and LM24 totally boring,,though MotoGP can be entertainimg
Cycle racing is a slow burn affair but can be great in the mountains for the scenery alone, and tactics are played out on the road ,not in the pits.
To each his own

A class was won on the last lap today. That was quite exciting
The overall winner was second to last at 6pm last night, having lost 65 minutes in the pits.
Slow burn but worth it.

One of the parts I was watching mentioned the phonecall between Toyota Racing European HQ and Tokyo this week, didn't hear the figure properly but think it was €50m spent on Le Mans with nothing to show for it.

They were about as successful in F1...

+1.
A group of people we know, over 40's, have all gone off to GB again ... In their rented camper vans, fridges full, happy to spend more on a long weekend than we could pay for a 2week holiday abroad. Spending time with the rich kids that populate festivals these days.
£600 Cambridge Uni balls, GB, the rich of British life step out.
Maybe Mr Eveis needs to do a GB without any punters on site ... All revenue from broadcast rights ......
