Merkel is going soon, AKK is my favourite to succeed her, but someone pointed out that her name* is far too long to be chanted by friendly or hostile demonstrators, the other candidates have short names

*Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer
Try chanting that after a liter of Pils :?

My wife teaches and she used to have a colleague, since retired, who was a little lady with a feisty character. She relieved her frustration with obnoxious pupils by ending her conversation with them with the remark "There We Are Then", which left the awkward kids no wiser but had nearby teachers chuckling.

I use "moton" or "monkey brain" but they're not a direct reference to the person doing the driving, but rather to the primitive part of the brain that's been delegated the task whilst the person gets on with the important stuff, like making phone calls or thinking about tea.

The inner monkey is a fickle collection of creatures.
In my case the "instant gratification monkey" is my bugbear. (If it wasn't I wouldn't be typing this...)
