New words/vocab on these fora, boards..

Post by Cyril Haearn »

One has learnt many new words here

I assert that I coined *farcebook*

Other useful words: moton, PoB, upwrong, psyclopath (in several variations), farcilities

There must be plenty more that do not occur to me at the minute..

Thoyle. My thanks go to thirdcrank for introducing it to me, I await a suitable opportunity to use it in conversation.

My thanks too. I've lived in Yorkshire forty years, and not heard that one before. And I've used it twice already.

Unbelievable, unless maybe you’ve always lived in a warm house?

"I can't thoyle that" means, I understand, "I could afford it, but can't justify the expense".

A few years ago Morgan Spurlock made a film *SuperSize Me*, he went to a famous fast food restaurant many times and always accepted an XXXXL if offered. He found himself eating too much and had to desist to save his health
Would that he had thoyled!

"Cartoony" and "posterisation" are a couple for me but "encountered" would be a better description than "learnt." :?

(The spell checker offers "pasteurisation" for the latter. :? )
