I think it's mine, thought up a few days ago, unless someone has heard it before?

Tealoader from freeloader? Brand new to me
Does the ausgleichende Ungerechtigkeit (compensating unfairness) apply? That means she gets her desserts, she makes no tea and you make no Christmas dinner, +/-1

It's better if I cook, trust me. My wife is a lady of many talents, but cooking isn't in the top, say 100

'Being attacked by a dead sheep', a phrase used in connection with Sir Geoffrey Howe, a nice Tory: even if you are a dead sheep you are still a sheep :?

Plenty, 'fast' in German means 'nearly' so kfc serves 'nearly food'
You could google Gayle Tufts, she is an American comedian in Berlin, or Johnny Armstrong, he is from the deep dark North of England and does comedy in German

Acker => acre in English. There's a Stuttgarter beer called Dinkelacker: nothing to do with lacquering your dinky, but a wheatfield.
Have we got time for another cuppa?

Reminds me. That 'dead sheep' was certainly far from dead when he made this speech - nearly 30 years ago. Worth giving another airing to:

In this odd mix of sheep and Germany it's worth mentioning that Konrad Adenauer described his own countrymen as 'carnivorous sheep' - a phrase he may or may not have borrowed from Churchill. When living in Germany I heard more than one commentator make this point, and I could understand it, there is tendency to 'conformist behaviour' in Germany.

Peddle: to offer for sale

Pedal: to power a cycle (paddle: to power a boat)

I do wish people would use these correctly
