Real bike/cycle
(Cyril Haearn)

Cycle *without* an electric motor

A term that may become necessary, is necessary already maybe

Any alternative suggestions?

Motorbike = the typical home brewed, hopped up, gazillion watt ebike. Let's not beat about the bush with that one, and let's call a gardening implement a gardening implement.

The ladywife cannot be allowed to have a home brewed, hopped up, gazillion watt ebike aka motorbike. Already I must grovel on her back wheel as she selects the blue button as we ascend some monstrous Welsh bump i' the landscape. Even now I cannot escape her smirk as I reach the top some yards behind, all red and unable to speak.

Often she is kind and selects only the green button, with which I can easily keep up ... nay surpass .... on the hills.

Mind, there is the red button, which makes the battery glow (hence red) but means I lose sight of her as she tops Blaen Cwm at 400M somewhere up there next to the clouds.

One day I intend to take her on a ride which will deplete her battery perhaps around Llyn Brianni - with the last 3 miles a fiercesome ascent of unpowered crawl-up. I will ride beside her and talk as she won't be able to. :-)

Cugel, battered by the wife (only in cycling-style though).

Blaen-y-cwm is the usual name, occurs many times in Wales (top of the valley) + Llyn Brianne
Are you learning to bleat in Welsh, or are you too breathless to complain?

Do I get the tenner for Welsh tips?
..
I used to use 'station' until someone pointed out that many towns had police-stations, ambulance-stations, etc, I even know a 'happiness station' selling ice-cream :?

Or "toilet shaped object" as in a Virgin train. They always smell of one, no matter which bit you're in. Apparently the air conditioning inlet duct of a carriage is right next to the toilet waste ejection spot. Good design!

Regretably 99% of Australians are also using the dreaded Merkan word.

A Merkan in a merkin - Trump in his wig, which he has failed to place a-rightly in the correct body-spot. Berkmerkmirk for short, defined as the inept attempt by a Yank to hide something nasty with a camouflage wrongly-donned.
