I remember Sputnik 2 being launched - with Laika the dog inside. When I heard (from my schoolfriends) that they'd had to poison Laika, I cried and cried... :cry:

Actually, more recent intelligence suggests that Laika was dead before the Sputnik even got into orbit.... or maybe even before its launch....
Suppose that this room is a lift. The support breaks and down we go with ever-increasing velocity.
