What rules do you always obey?

I always keep my distance when driving or riding.

The hardest one is trying to keep my head on when in queues or crowds. People drive me nuts.

On the contrary to this thread, what rules do I regularly ignore?

Some speed limits, copyright or various obscure health and safety rules at work. Probably breaking some sort of law or rule right now that I'm not even aware of. There's some really silly stuff out there. Did you know its illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament? Or eat minced pies on Christmas Day?

I believe that up to the 1930's or so in the uk, if you attempted suicide and failed you could be charge with attempted murder of yourself. Perhaps an urban myth but it was mentioned on a documentary, it would be fortunate I'd imagine if the verdict of your trial was the death sentence :) .

One rule I try not to break is to not leave my DNA at the scene of a crime.

Actually I leave my DNA all over the place, which can be a crime :o

At the risk of sounding too serious

Never cash in any of your pension fund before retirement. You WILL live to regret it - all the people I know that did, have regretted it in later life.

    Ditto life insurance policies.

When cycling I often wait when I have priority
Never trust a moton to stop and wait until I have gone by
I do not make eye contact or try to communicte
Am I breaking the law?

BTW, the laws of gravity: never yet broken a bone or anything else

So, disabled, but able to walk around a supermarket pushing a trolley for >30 minutes.
I wish our Jules could do that ....

Many supermarkets have trolleys specifically intended to be "joined" to a wheelchair. I agree that disabled spaces are often misused (don't think I have ever done so, even when herself was recovering from hip replacement and was by any definition "disabled" with 2 crutches), but it is entirely possible that a genuinely disabled person can do supermarket shopping.

Agreed.
Not needed to show but If I was registered disabled I would place blue badge whatever where it can be seen even in no pay carparks.
Lidl car parks late in evening, disabled spots are close to doors and that where most park their car.
Then if you were disabled you would park furthest away.

A regular visitor who goes same time as me week in year out, commonly park elsewhere at Lidl, they have a wheel chair and converted car.
