Yes, but then he spelled out that he was feeling a bit peaky and disappeared. Hasn't been in touch since.

Why not at the absolute bottom I don't know. The ones below him were all in office around the time of the Civil war (Abe Lincoln comes top of the ratings btw). Maybe future historians will judge Mr T more harshly, once he's dead and buried...

*'Official'? Well, seems pretty authoritative at least - put together by a panel of distinguished historians, whenever there's a change in the WH. Anyone know of any others?

Dropping three places is nothing. He's currently on a score of 312. Here's looking to a big round 'Nul Points' for him next time around! No less than what he deserves....

Well he is up against slavery supporters/sympathisers for those bottom spots. Andrew Johnson was Lincoln's VP so took the remainder of the term after the latter was assassinated where he mostly fought the republican dominated congress in supporting the southern states efforts to restrict the rights of the freed slaves.

The other two were the previous democratic presidents before Lincoln.

I can see why those might end up below trump

Without looking it up .......... boring?

What (using plain and simple explanations) is the 1st amendment, and what is/was amended?
No doubt it's something to do with USA stuff.

Words in one syllable please.

No idea about who is constrained (not looked it up)

But I see a major issue Trump faces is that my understanding is that 1st Amendment does not give you the right to say whatever you want on the media/platform of your choice (incl. privately owned platforms). e.g. could he sue the New York Times for not publishing a letter he wrote to them?

If my understanding is correct (i.e. Freedom of Speech does not mean Freedom to say what you want on the platform of your choice) then I wonder if this is just him trying to keep himself in the headlines. And one must wonder how easy he'll find it to get legal people to represent him given how it's reported he's cut-off Giuliani, refusing to pay Giuliani's invoices (and what has now happened Giuliani's career ...)

It is the very reason why espousing false factual information to large segments of the public as a means of discrediting the rights of legitimate voters is so immediately harmful to it and warrants interim suspension from the practice of law."

Is he mad? Don't think so, just a typical yank who's looking up his own anus! Can he just go away and contemplate his navel? MM

Technically congress, although that's drastically oversimplifying the issue - other parts of government are also constrained by the first amendment as a result of, amongst other things, the fourteenth.

I didn't look it up in response to your question - but had done so recently.

A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

It appears you can put Russian intelligence down in the yes column. An alleged leak of Kremlin documents to do with their decision to 'facilitate his election' apparently describes him as:

"impulsive, mentally unstable and unbalanced individual who suffers from an inferiority complex".
