Where politics are concerned Trump is the worst kind, and more so those who believe in him and his message.
He appeals to the lowest common denominator, the othering of those who don't subscribe to his sickness.

If you really believe that then you have lived a very sheltered life indeed.

You don't know me and as such don't know what you're talking about.
Trump's kind of politics are the cause of division of the worst kind in society,he's a despot.

keep up the Trumphobia and keep him in The Whitehouse

It's "the White House". Unless you're referring to the late Mary Whitehouse, who passed away in 2001. Whether Trump was ever 'in' her is a matter for conjecture, but possible...

If you really think that what anyone writes about Trump on an obscure UK cycling forum will keep him in the White House you're a fool.

Just found a book by Alistair Cooke in the free exchange
He uses the term "Whitehouse Keeper" to signify the PotUS
Entertainer, juvenile, curmudgeon
Cycling-of course, but it is far better on a Gillott

The PotUS is in favour of the death penalty for amok shooters
Anyone agree?

My worry about people ignoring him is, given his need for attention he might do more and more extreme things until he does get the attention he seems to crave so badly.

I'm wondering if it went like this: "Either you tear up that speech you wrote and read out the one we've written for you instead - or we shoot you...."

More like, based on his signature "No, we can't find your crayons, but we promise we'll write very bigly*, just like you do"

*Seen his signature on legislation? Bigly.

Or even more like:

It's this word-of-the-moment, "empowerment". Trump's rhetoric has made those cops in the photo, think they can get away with this. So they do it.

Even if they can be identified, they'll get off lightly, a minor disciplinary, card marked, promotions set back, that sort of thing, maybe.

They'll consider the stunt "worth it". They got their white supremacist statement out, they made sure it got photographed, they and their cronies did the work making sure the photo goes viral. We, the 'reasonable' folk on this planet, feel disgusted of course. But not everyone does. There will be copycat behaviour. Others will do something equally outrageous, and it'll be photographed or video'd, and the images will go viral.

And so the 'word' is spread.... :(
