I tend to agree with " Thirdcrank" I often avail myself of a decent malt whilst camping in Scotland to obviate the midges; it doesn't get rid off them. But eventually one doesn't care.

You mean a shot whiskey only effects one midge,no wonder the Scots drink so much of it!
