I've changed jobs at the same company, into another quality-related field that isn't quite either what I want to do, nor what I am educated to do, but I think it will be a little more interesting that the previous one.

Got a new job on the other side of town, I have to cycle there every day

Reuse, recycle, thus do your bit to save the planet.... Get stuff at auctions, Dump, Charity Shops, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Car Boots. Choose an Old House, and a Banger ..... And cycle as often as you can......

I lived in Plymouth and we still had gas street lighting into the 1950's. I was born in 1951 and can still remember the lamp lighter on his rounds.
At the last count:- Peugeot 531 pro, Dawes Discovery Tandem, Dawes Kingpin X3, Raleigh 20 stowaway X2, 1965 Moulton deluxe, Falcon K2 MTB dropped bar tourer, Rudge Bi frame folder, Longstaff trike conversion on a Giant XTC 840 :D
