Having just Cycled around Germany and Denmark I can relate to this.In one week I had zero problems of anysort interacting with traffic..Back in this country cannot go five minutes without some vehicle related incident. Not just cycles..whole different attitude.Early morning trains with tradesmen on going to work...instead of countless vans.etc etc..
