Just ridin'

Post by reohn2 »

Familiar roads, tracks and trails, doing the same thing in places ridden since childhood I turn the pedals over.
Suddenly It's there,it's arrival is imperceptible, like the deer I saw on the track up ahead and then disappeared into the undergrowth,It arrives then fleetingly leaves as if It wasn't.
I'm left wondering did It come and go so quickly that It wasn't at all?
I've learned to accept It for what It is and the satisfaction of It's feeling.
No inducement brings It on.
No expectation allows It's introduction.
It simply comes and then is gone.

I only realise It was there at all after It's left.
I then enjoy the quiet satisfaction of it's non presence when It was there.

Within, without, don't try for It as like air it can't be seen or heard, owned or bought.
It just is sometimes and isn't at others.....

I think that strawberry jam you had on your scone must have fermented

Actually, it's good to hear these annual mind ramblings.
Lets me know your still normal.. :)

Lack of strawberry jam might be the cause of this overly-romantic rambling. We must ask the lad if he was, at the time, also considering consumption of the squashed hedgehog he just passed. The bonk has many peculiar side-effects, including hallucination and even delusion.

Or perhaps he's just been reading a poem by a-one o' them C19th fops with a floppy haircut and a billowing white shirt?

No jam,no hedgehog,no bonk.
Delusion, illusion possibly..... ......but It's real in It's ethereal presence that isn't.......
