I was back in the 80s. I had cafe racerised 500 and a 750 Triton. After that I had Ducati, Guzzi and a bike I really did not like - a BMW R80.

I've had nothing since 2001, no need, no use, it would be a very seldom used toy. All my kit was given away about 10 years ago. This does not mean that I do not get a hankering.

Love those cafe racers, I’m pretty sure the first one is usually ridden by Ogri.

Great looking bike with the super cool “widow maker” reputation as well :-)

burns fuel and chucks out smoke (and needs a re build every other week end) just the job for Sadiq Khans super low emission zone in London as now it would be classified as an Historic Vehicle so exempt

I had a GPX600, great engine and very fast steering with the 16” front wheel.

Touring on a bicycle is a great way to explore and appreciate the countryside and towns you pass through. Make a difference...

Ogri had a Norvin - similar to a Triton but with a fair bit more power.

Is that the Himalayan ?
Sort of fancied one but got used to the power of the Triumph.
Triumph 2 (Large).JPG

But I would like one of these except for the price :-

Nice Triumph .... to big, to thirsty and too expensive for me i'm afraid..
My guide to the right bike for me has always been ... Can i pick it up when i drop it it ..... :D
Ok the ZZR-1100 didn't meet that criteria ... but it's tenure was brief, 140 mile a day commute was a blast, but the tyres and chain replacement every month was beyond my budget ... :)
Replaced it with a Kawasaki 500 twin Custom .... common sense took over but ended up back with the MZ ETZ 300 in a matter of months.
Which was right back in my comfort zone .... :D

They are ! I have a Dyna Wide Glide (1450), done a fair few miles on it too.

Also have a classic Suzuki and a Triumph.

Someone here has had a Kawasaki HI, I had a purple H2C (750) with Denco expansion chambers !!! Dinosaur of a motorcycle - loved it though.

Agree again Whippet. Recently went to event at Shaw's Harley and I have to say I did get smitten with some of them I saw. Could never afford new but given the number of events the HD owners club organise throughout the year it's a ticket to a lot of fun if I did ever buy one.
My mates got one on order for next March £19k
What !. It's his pension present to himself.

I rode a Puch Maxi moped from Warrington to London and back in a day (actually 26 hours).
My bottom has never forgiven me.
