+1 :D

Though not quite all over for me, as we are having a late new year business lunch and just opened the 5th bottle of wine. Between 3 of us. So much for that resolution then...

What did I miss?
Everything. Or rather I didnt. Shopping was done online on my ad-block pc so none of that in-your face marketing or bonkers hassle/rush/argie-bargie.
No family get together either so non of the tired snidey comments round the table like "oh, I 'forgot' you don't like Brussel sprouts. Can't imagine why, they're lovely. Strange boy".
And new year. Well, I just don't get it, never have.
Almost completely avoided to booze too. 1 small bottle of lager - and I only had that to accompany the curry.
Truly a nice, quiet, peaceful time.

Ahem... If you are talking about Christmas - it famously lasts for twelve days. The Twelfth is this coming Sunday.

Tree and dekkers down and put away earlier today.
Good riddence. Roll on spring.

Some daffs are blooming already, and cocusses (or is it croci?) are showing too.

I've just found some mince pies in the biscuit tin at work so Christmas is back on here.

You rotten humbug, taking the decs down early! Unless you're going away or something.

Anyway, it's not been winter yet because I've not used the ice tyres since February or so. I shan't be wishing my life away either.
