It will be interesting hearing about the trial. I know the chap has only appeared in court today charged with murder and carrying a weapon, but he made no plea, and the trial was adjourned and he has been remanded in custody.

I wonder if the 18yo murderer is a victim too. Such a waste of young lives.

Another stabbing murder just a few hundred yards from my house and a couple of miles from the Jason Moodie incident.

I doubt this one will make any national headlines as he's 19. As I mentioned upthread this is becoming a weekly event and hardly even news locally.

Well,well,well.....
It transpires this model citizen was indeed a drug dealer!
Killed by a rival drug gang.
Some of us see the blindingly obvious, others decide to try to see the best in things and accuse us of jumping the gun and stereotyping
As I said upthread months ago he wasn’t the little innocent his family portrayed.

theres no doubt of that, he wasnt one of those mis-identified who are killed like that poor girl in the park lounging on the grass with her friends, stabbed in the back.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-50573572

sad though that a young person is sucked into that dead end life

And it is frightening that such animals like those who killed him are or were walking around

"I told you so," is an unattractive gloat.
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?

Such cases beg the question,why?
Why did he deal drugs?
Why did he get sucked into such a lifestyle?
Why weren't the police able to stop it?
Why wasn't there support in the community to help him ?
Why are drugs needed to cope with life?
Why isn't there an alternative to violence?
