Quidditch of course, sounds just like Redditch and I knew bonefish had some queer hobby

Close enough for government work, as my fishing buddy says.

Redditch was once, until comparatively recently actually, the world's centre for making fishing hooks.

The last maker closed earlier this decade and the industry is now centred in Japan.

That is a very interesting fact that I had no idea about.

I must admit, I don't know where Redditch actually is, so I Googled it.

Plant em in your veg patch. Later in the year you may be able to spring a leak!

Spring greens?
Spring onions?
I'll hang on until spring before I make my mind up about them.

I still don't know what to do with them though. They seem too good to send to the recycling.

Yes, if you hang onto them long enough something will spring to mind, I'm sure.

Could I construct a catapult to fire rocks over to England across the valley?

Aim them at Southampton. You will only improve the look of the place.
But first I need the springs hooked up to fire me back to the right side of the Tamar.
The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.

Attach them to the soles of your shoes. That'll put a spring in your step.

Anyone done a bungee jump off of Calstock viaduct yet? The Tamar is probably quite bracing this time of year

Words of wisdom?

A middle way perhaps?
Keep a few for that germinating idea and send the rest for recycling into a Hyundai?

Or a bike frame?
That's one springy frame you have there mate!
