I'm an Englishman living in Wales and most of my friends are Welsh, so I'm happy for them. And my daughter is Welsh born so I'm happy for her too. Rugby means more in Wales than in most of England so it is good when Wales win. And to be fair, they did play better. It was a fair result.

You mean England not being good enough :D

Before the match I was bricking it as England have looked awesome but, today, they didn't play to their strengths did they? Wales weren't pretty to watch but got the job done. Change of scrum-half for Wales, me thinks.

Neither did we.
Were in the White Hart again today and the rugby stuff was on, and a few of us went outside to get away from it.
To be honest, I couldn't give a toss about who was playing or the result. Utterly boring and pointless in my - and our - opinion.

If I could be bothered, I'd Google to find out who was playing and what the result was.
It's a CBA situation, so I won't.

Unless people like me continue to state that all this hysteria about "sport" is pointless, the rest of you lot will never understand.
It's not RU, but all stuff kicking a bag of wind about on a field.

Wouldn't the world be boring if we were all the same? :D

As you've shown we're not all the same,if you don't like RU fair enough but don't keep banging on about it and leave it to them that do!
And BTW I haven't seen any hysteria on the thread, and when I've been watching the international matches the crowd seem like they're enjoying it,excited yes, silly headgear most definitely, really enjoying themselves without doubt, and you don't hear any reports of pitched battles in the streets afterwards unlike football.

I could bang on about how boring I find shiney cycle parts on bikes or frames made in Derby but I don't,to each his own, live and let live.....

Hi,
Just a bit of bad luck for England tonight.
As said wales wasn't great either.
Can they still win / how many matches left?

As opposed to the pointlessness of drinking three pints of overpriced flavoured water/ethanol mix several days a week? Or the pointlessness of recording when daffodils flower, or any of the other things that you do and others don’t.
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.

I also appreciate the consumption of overpriced ethanol mixes, and have enjoyed looking at historical flowering records... it was not (intended as) a slight on those doing such things.

Shouldn't you be a league man living where you do?

I don't like League,I find the fifth tackle turnover boring and the pretend scrum ridiculous, whereas Union is more abstract. That said I only ever watch the international games and the odd domestic game if they're on the box.
The real sport starts with the Belgium Classics, proper sport! :D

You are very confused-there are six tackles in League and as for union being abstract?I agree with last bit about Belgian horse-racing-brilliant.

Could be,I lose interest after the 5th tackle

and as for union being abstract?

Yep I was searching for a word there and should have written 'open' or more 'freestyle'

Never watched horse racing of any kind,I meant Belgian cycle racing of course, for real hard men of the sport :D
