However, since this button is of no use whatsoever in reducing car numbers or their predations, it begs the question: what can we as individuals do to combat the evil effects of the filthy things - besides driving out own filthy thing less or getting rid of it altogether?
One thing has already been done. A vote for leaving the EU! This will surely reduce car use as one of many, many features, effects and consequences of the impending economic downturn. Mind, for every pedestrian no longer run over by a Toad roaring about on his mission, there will be N others dying of malnutrition or even riot! Every silver-lined cloud has a great big stormy bit in the middle.
