A GorB, girl on a racing bike, overtook me, Plus One!
A moment later I smelt her perfume, Minus One

Are you sure it was perfume?

I once went looking for a colleague who I knew had been working in a particular lab. Smelt her rather intense perfume (-1) in the corridor and followed the trail, avoiding an unnecessary visit to said lab (+1).
Everyone's ghast should get a good flabbering now and then.

One should smile, it uses fewer muscles than frowning :?
But using muscles, excersize, is good, +/-?

The cheap food store has big wide trolleys, plus smaller more manoeuvrable trolleys
Fewer of the latter of course, although they are more popular, +/-?

(I read of some trolleys with special wheel bearings, they run better when loaded to nudge one to buy more :?
On should not trust even the cheap stores, sometimes they are not so cheap)

So why do supermarkets incentivise low value shopping via express checkouts, I wonder?

What does awarding something an imaginary number signify?

I will give BoJo the value "the square root of minus three". With luck, this will make him disappear up his own fundamental orifice.

Got to the station in plenty of time, a train was waiting although mine was not due, I hopped on, got home 13 minutes earlier than planned, - 13
Then I learnt that it was an earlier train, nearly two hours late, +105 (minutes) in railwayspeak :?

My favourite has to be the sort of people that drive for hours for a 'day in the country' then have a picnic within 10 feet of a crowded car park and window shop in a chocked rural trinket-town then it's straight back home.

That,ll be me then seeing as my wife has degenerative disc disease, walks with great difficulty and one of her few pleasures is a picnic out, never in car park mind.
