Yes, and I drove the bus at the Leyland test track, I insisted on it. I was working as a consultant to the NRDC at the time. The same drive had been used in the ram air generator on the TSR2 with which I had experience. The drive was a very novel concept, too novel for most people I think and it largely did away with a gearbox.

Reuse, recycle, thus do your bit to save the planet.... Get stuff at auctions, Dump, Charity Shops, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay, Car Boots. Choose an Old House, and a Banger ..... And cycle as often as you can......
