Indoor temp 22C outdoor 13C no need for a fire here. Have been cutting and splitting logs today though another3-4 barrow loads and that’s the wood shed full for another winter.

Plenty of hot water here, heated by electric from my pv solar panels. Should be sufficient sunshine until the clocks go back when the heating starts to come on. Here's hoping the sun shine's on the rightous :D
At the last count:- Focus Variado, Peugeot 531 pro, Dawes Discovery Tandem, Dawes Kingpin, Raleigh 20, Falcon K2 MTB dropped bar tourer, Longstaff trike conversion on a Falcon corsa. :D

Didn't know there had been a heatwave. :?
Currently 16.C but quite windy. (22.00).
Central heating came on this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks. Set at 21.C
High teen's forecast for next 7 days but no 20's. :(
I have only worn shorts twice this year, due really to cold winds.
There's no such thing as a tailwind.
It's either a headwind, or you're going well.

Yes. But only because half of the blood that flows through me is from Yorkshire.

Yes. But only because half of the blood that flows through me is from Yorkshire.

The Severn-Wash line is the divide between north and south so all of Wales is in the North

What's this about a heat wave. First I knew of it. OK, it didn't rain for a few days, but heat wave?

From North Northumberland.

June was hottest month ever https://www.independent.co.uk/news/worl ... 84691.html You would never have thought it up here. Apart from 2 or 3 days it’s been fairly chilly.

Yep.
Hottest?
Maybe in certain parts of the country, but not everywhere by any means. It's all to do with the press and media sensationalising as usual.

We had it "hot" here last Thursday, but from then on, it's just been a bit warm during the days, but cool and chilly overnight. Strong winds too last week with loads of tree branches strewn about.

We could do with a week or two of gentle rain.

Much the same here it's getting dry now. Rivers are low.
Beautiful haymaking weather though and one is not complaining!

The Independent article cited by Paulatic, states it was the hottest june globally ever recorded.
An old friend lives in Spain. Was nearly 45c there last week!!!
